BSD is enabled through the external AHD cameras you connect. The TVS31N supports up to two external cameras, typically mounted for left/right blind spots.
TVS31 is designed for in-cabin installation. The lens module is automotive-rated for vibration and temperature; for exposed mounting use the external cameras in their IP-rated housings.
